Mountsorrel Beat Team Weekly Update

It has been another busy week for the Mountsorrel Beat Team, who have continued to carry out high-visibility patrols around the village, engaging with residents and addressing concerns raised by the local community.

The team have also been dealing with a number of ongoing neighbour disputes. These incidents can often be complex and require ongoing engagement with those involved, as well as partner agencies where appropriate, to help achieve a satisfactory resolution and prevent further issues.

During the week, officers carried out a joint home visit alongside a healthcare professional to check on the welfare of a resident and ensure that the appropriate support was available. Working closely with partner agencies allows us to better safeguard vulnerable members of our community and provide assistance where it is needed most.

The Beat Officer also assisted colleagues elsewhere in Charnwood with a premises search following the stop of a vehicle in Mountsorrel. As a result of the investigation, a male was arrested and enquiries remain ongoing. Due to the active nature of the investigation, no further details can be provided at this time.

Alongside these incidents, the team have continued to gather intelligence, provide reassurance patrols, and respond to concerns raised by local residents. We would like to thank those members of the community who have spoken with officers and shared information with us this week.
